Lucy in the '59 Rambler
First-time session with Lucy, shot in a ‘59 vintage Rambler. I felt like I was in some sort of time warp, those old cars have such a different feeling, a whole personality that Lucy was able to work with. It was also fun shooting in a cramped space, with a challenge of having to move around to find angles and just rolling with the light that’s available. But the rainclouds parted and granted us fantastic light to work with. I love when shibari has a playful feeling, so this time I went with a minimal tie, just something light. Instead of my usual ornate ties, this time I wanted something that would almost disappear. I like how it ends up looking like little more than the idea of rope, and Lucy’s expressions can be the star of the series.
